We were thrilled with the results achieved by numerous key clients with the latest launch of Legal 500 and Chambers Global & Europe. A few standout highlights from this year:

• Our very first client, a major independent firm in the Middle East, secured four practice promotions and four partner promotions for Legal 500. Over the course of our 2.5-year collaboration, that now brings them to 10 practice promotions in total, including two moves to Tier 1.

• We are increasingly being asked to draft submissions from scratch, so it was particularly rewarding to see the Western European office of a Magic Circle firm achieve nine practice promotions or first-time department rankings across Legal 500 and Chambers on the basis of submissions we wrote.

• France was again a particularly strong market for us. Across our work there, where we act for a few firms of all sizes, nine practices were either promoted or newly ranked with Legal 500.

• We acted for the Benelux office of a large US firm, achieving six practice promotions across Legal 500 and Chambers, together with five improved partner rankings.

• We also acted for a dominant Central European firm which was already Tier 1 across the three areas on which we supported them, but we were able to add the value of six new or improved individual rankings across both directories.

We are also especially proud that, alongside our work for major international and regional firms, we continue to support smaller independent firms and boutiques:

• In the Gulf, a relatively new firm we have supported over the past two years is now ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers, with its Managing Partner now also individually ranked.

• In North Africa, another firm built around a powerhouse managing partner, which was Tier 2 in two areas when it first came to us two years ago, is now Tier 1 in both for Legal 500.

Meanwhile, beyond the recent EMEA launches, we have also had the privilege of supporting an Asian office of one of the largest international firms, helping it secure nine practice promotions or new rankings across Legal 500 and Chambers, including three new Tier 1 rankings, as well as 15 individual lawyer promotions or first-time rankings.
